Nowadays, moving to urban areas seem to be a good choice for rural people to seek for livelihood or improve their quality of lives. Correspondingly, population in the cities is increasing. In my view, I believe that this tendency will bring negative impact on the development.
First and foremost, crime will increase in the city. To be more specific, the migration will cause the competitive environment on job opportunities because the opportunities are limited in city. Consequently, some people will lose their occupation and cannot maintain their lives in such high expenses city without the incomes. As a result, they might commit crimes like stealing food for livelihood. This has soared the cases of crime in the city, threaten the safety of the urban residents.
Furthermore, tourism, which contribute to the economic of the country will affected by the increasing population in city. To elaborate, there are not enough places provided to large amount of immigrants and inhabitants to live. Under this circumstance, homeless are getting more and more, they usually stay and live at the street. It brings a considerable effect on destroying the reputation of a city which causes the decreasing at the number of tourist. Economic of the country will be affected, then a lack of fund to develop the city.
In conclusion, I believe that it is a negative development. The negative impacts of the increasing population in urban areas are predictable. If this phenomenon had not been controlled, it would bring some problem to the city.
