Band 6+: As major cities around the world are growing, so are their problems. What are these problems for young people living in cities? What are possible solutions for these problems?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, young people have lot of problems living in cities, as major cities around the world are growing for example, money with the high cost of living together with providing affordable living can be good solutions.

First of all, many young people, especially boys find it difficult to survive in big cities because everything is expensive. Rent is high, food is not cheap, and even transport costs a lot. Some boys try to act “independent” and strong, but in reality they are checking their wallet every five minutes like “do I have enough money for lunch or just tea today? Because of this, they often have to work while studying, which makes their life very tiring.

Another problem is stress and competition. Boys in cities feel pressure to be successful, earn money, build a career very quickly, and high cost of living. Society expects them to be strong and not show emotions, but inside they are also human. Sometimes they don’t even know what they want in life, but they still pretend like “yes, I have a plan” even if the plan is just to survive until the weekend. Funny but real problem for young people, especially boys, is spending money on girls. Living in a big city is already expensive, but when you add dating, things become even more “interesting.” For example, going to a cafe, buying gifts, or even simple things like transport – all of these cost money. Sometimes boys plan their budget carefully, but then suddenly there is a message like “let’s go out,” and the whole plan is gone. For this reason, even if relatives receive money from all relatives is not enough because there are a lot of problems.

In addition, many young boys live far from the city center because it is cheaper. As a result, they spend a lot of time in traffic or public transport. Imagine waking up early, traveling for one or two hours, and arriving already tired, this becomes a daily routine. So city life is not always as cool as it looks on social media.

In conclusion, we should not always rely on our parents to be able to help them, and if we work we will have all our problems.
