There has been much discussion revolving around the issue of wether involving technology to the education enhace students ability or not has spraked much debate. Some people assert that using technology in education has hampered student thinking independently whereas many argue that technology has made learning more efficient and prepares student for the upcoming barrires. Personally, I am on the latter view.
To start with, technology has played a vital role in today’s education. In other words, a student can find anything they want through modern tech; therefore todays youth generation can master any skill through the help of internet. Morever , they can use these skill to prepare themselves to overcome obstacles the have to face in future. For instance todays classroom all are equipted with technology like computers, projectors; as a result those students who do not know how to use them properly will definately not improve in studies. Lastly, i think it is mendatory for the technology to be implemented in studies for the students to compete with today’s fast paced world.
In contrast, some others may claim that more involement with technology has demolished student thinking. Apperently, the intension of involvement of technology in studies was to inhace the study, which led students to many technical devices equipt with screen. However, in modern day society, mostly children and youths tends to spend most of their times on screen consuming things that are not related to study, thats why more screen time hampering their thinking independence.
To sum up, in spite of fact that technology has some drawbacks but in my point of view tech plays a key role in a students education.
