It is frequently asserted that, in recent times social skills are an indispensable skill that many employers’ emphasis people to grasp it at an early age. Some people argue that social skills are an essential along with good academic results I strongly subscribe to this viewpoint because social competences build good leadership and makes positive client relationship.
There are a plethora of reasons why I support this notion. Firstly, working in a charity, hospital and an environmental project allows people learn leadership, teamwork and communication. These skills are significance when they enter in the job market later. For example, in many companies, employers often work in groups to complete the projects. A person with good academic results but poor communication skills may find it difficult to cooperate with others. But someone who have an enormous social skill can perform the task easily.
Secondly, social skills build strong client relationship. In addition, a person in sales department may have to deal the client positively. If the person does not know how to behave with client effectively, he may lose their business. Moreover, someone who can express ideas clearly and listen actively will build better relationship with consumer and make the team productive. Furthermore, these social skills cannot be learnt from textbooks. For instance, a students may achieve high results without developing social skills which may effects in their professional life later.
In conclusion, social skills are an important that most recruiters want it from their employees. Without social skills employees could not communicate with their clients so it helps people make an effective relationship with their consumers and create a great leadership role.
