Some people believe that hosting an international sports events is good for the country. However others think it is bad. Personally, I support the latter view despite some arguments for the former.
From one angle, hosting for international sport event is good for the country’s popularity among other counterparts. It is also good for businessman who offers different services and their income grows a lot. They can make a bunch of money from doing this. For example, in Paris 2024 a lot of hotels increased their payment for 2 or 3 times. Nevertheless, there was no free room to stay in. Clearly, we must consider every fact in this respect.
From another angle, hosting for international sport events might not be a good thing for the country. Countless people enters to the country and damages it’s both infrastructure and for the life of local livings. Due to tourists a lot of markets will increase their prices and it only gives headache to the local people. A lot of tourists causes high amount of pollution. In addition, different nations can cause deadly battles and this all situation will damage environment. To solve this problems government will spent a lot money.
To conclude. Hosting for international sport events have good sides like becoming popularity and businesses which has some services. But it is not helpful for both government and local peoples wealth.
