There is a view that academic institutions such as universities can’t teach people how to become a successful person in today’s world. I particularly agree with this point of view since success depends on individual’s nature.
In some cases, universities have a crucial impact on educational system, and students may become more intelligent due to improvement their learning efficiency. Person with strong academic goals can become a successful individual in the future. To achieve these kinds of goals students are required to study more effectively and always visit lectures and lessons. Admittedly, that individual who studies harder will reach his target much more easier and faster than those who don’t care about their grades. Usually, those successful students who have a good-based knowledge can get scholarships from top universities in the world, which is an excellent example of success.
However, success is not always something that can be reached with knowledge or education. To some extent, it is a matter of talent, ambition and self-confidence. If student doesn’t have any dreams, goals, purposes then probably he can’t be successful. As I see it, confident persons are always accomplished. Moreover, educational institutions didn’t concentrate on quality of education, especially in today’s world. Unfortunately, their indifference has severe consequences on the future of new generations. For instance, a tiny mistake of teacher may affect children’s learning ability, and kids can receive an incorrect information, which is essential for their future.
To sum up, universities can give education to children who want to became successful, however, their educational system is not always high-quality. Nevertheless, success doesn’t depend only on knowledge, it requires following characteristics such as self-confidence and ambition.
