In modern world of technological advancement all the details of various aspects in available on the internet including details and information of history and culture. It is believed that museum are not required. I strongly disagree this statement mainly because of two reasons.
Museum is the only place, where physical records of historic or pre historic era are kept. This helps in maintaining and preserving culture and history of a country. Information on the internet is virtual but, visiting a museum has its own exitment as we are able to view historic items live, which internet cannot provide. Museum is also a means of transfering information from one generation to next. This is done by various schools and parents in order to pass their culture and tradition to upcomming genration by organizing trips to museum.
If there is a museum in city it is estimated to have higher economic growth as compared to other cities. This is because museum creates a vast majority of tourism not only national but also, international. This helps whole country in boosting economy by creating employment in local area, where the museum is situated. Tourism helps in revenue generation as well as helps international tourists to explore the culture and tradition of other country. Also, helps local tourist in witnessing the evidence of historic events happened in their country.
In conclusion, there is strong need of museum to be present because museum helps In preservation of evidence not only this but also, it helps country to boost economy and helps in revenue generation. So, I disagree the statement.
