The illustration gives information about amount of percentage of male and female whose age 60-64 who where employed in four countries in 1970 and 2000.
Overall, it is clear that male workers usually were more whereas female employees were lower during the period.
Focusing on Belgium, the male workers were 79 % while women were 63 % in 1970 while male workers modestly decreased to 52% and also female dropped to 8%. The male employees were 86% and female 78% in USA. Additionally, the USA was the highest in the graph who had more employess in both gender in 1970. However, men’s and women’s proportions of workers declined to 78% and 45% respectively by 2000.
In terms of Japan, the share of male labours were 76% in 1970 which was higher by 13% from 2000. Meanwhile, female staff was 56 but the figure fell steadily to 47% in 2000. When it comes to Indonesia, the male figure started in 84% in 1970 wheres it dipped to 74% in 2000. In addition, the figure for staff females were 65% in 1970 but it also declined by 15% in 2000.
