Some people believe that society should ban all advertisements because they are useless and harmful. I completely disagree with this idea because advertising necessary for consumers and businesses.

On the one hand, advertising can cause some problems. For example, many ads make people buy things they do not need, which causes them to waste money. Also, some adverts show unhealthy fast food to children. However, banning all ads is not the right solution. Instead of ban everything, the government must control bad and misleading advertisements.

On the other hand, advertisements are very beneficial for consumers and the economy. Firstly, ads give people data about new products and good costs in the market. Without ads, shoppers would not know what to buy. Secondly, companies need advertising to sell their items and make profit. In addition, many websites, social media, and TV channels depend on ad money stay free for users.

In conclusion, although advertising sometimes causes problems banning it completely would bad idea. Advertisements help people find useful products and support businesses, so government should merely control harmful ads.
