Some individuals put their private data online for daily activities on social media or banking purposes. Although this might be seen as a positive development, I firmly believe that sharing private information is a negative development.
Personal information enables hackers to do various types of cybercrimes. This is because cybercriminals can exploit these data points to bypass security systems and access financial recources. For example, they take victims’ card number or password which they utilize to apply for loans or credits. As a result, user’s identification might be leaked, triggering more credit fraud and financial problems. Hence, it can be harmful to share private data online.
The number of calls from strangers is likely to increase which can disrupt the peace.
In other words, other people can call everytime, which can be annoying or distracting. Moreover, these numbers can be used in other ways such as introducing as a relative then asking for money. For example, an unknown person may introduce himself as an uncle and asks money. Therefore, putting personal data online can be disappointing.
In conclusion, personal information is vulnerable for hackers and can be disrupti, which can be seen as a negative development from my perspective.
