Some people present the view that courses are enough for any one to become a teacher, whereas others say being a teacher is useful for society and students as well as only courses are not enough to make an excellent teacher. I strongly agree with the latter notion.
One of the main reasons that some people justifiably argue that practical courses after graduation are essential is that, teachers, especially young teachers, do not have enough job experience, followed by participating in courses related to their knowledge, which are hold by skilled and expert tutors help their to improve their knowledge, and learn practical skills that may be beneficial for them. Additionally, teachers play a vital role in students’ lives, especially, professional life, if they have enough and appropriate job experience, they will more likely to act as suitable guidance to students. For example, research findings confirm that, in developed countries, young teachers have easy access to online courses, and they can benefit from these courses that will be useful to children.
On the other hand, some people claim that studying is only enough to make a master teacher. They firmly insist that it is enough to build somebody a teacher. Although, they do not have enough experience, they can gain it with trial and error. However, I do not find this argument convincing as, students require an experienced teacher who is a good leader, and helps them to become responsible members of society. For instance, in Japan, the government provides special courses for teachers, since they believe that teachers are responsible for their students’ lives. They have power to upbringing them.
To conclude, in my view, courses are crucial for anybody wants to become a teacher, but these courses are not enough lonely, being a excellent teacher needs to become a master in the field of their study. Consequently, taking part in practical training courses can be beneficial for them to boost their knowledge and gain experience.
