These days, there is a significant discourse about crimes committed by juveniles and their parent’s responsible for that. Although crime is bad whoever has committed it, I firmly believe that parents should take responsibility for their children’s actions.
First of all, parents should take responsibility for their children’s actions because they have a big influence on how their children behave and what they believe is right or wrong. Parents are the main people who take care of and teach their children. In other words, the way parents nurture their children affects the choices their children make. For example, if parents aren’t around much or don’t pay attention to their children, those children might be more likely to do bad things. Thus, parents being responsible is very important because it affects how kids grow up and behave, and it’s a big part of being a good parent.
Secondly life in prison, especially for juveniles, is harsh and potentially dangerous. Offenders there will not give any chance to simply meander there like its home, they will try to humiliate children. Meanwhile, parents, as adults, can provide essential support and protection for their children in such environments. For instance, their presence can help shield their children from exploitation and abuse, ensuring their safety and well-being during their time in custody. Consequently, parental involvement is essential to safeguarding children’s well-being in prison.
To sum up, I strongly believe that parents should be responsible as same as their children, because parents influence on children demeanor and they play a crucial role in protecting them.
