In modern times,the issue of the cause of wars has become highly controversial. Many commentators are of the view that patriotism is the main cause of wars around the world,whereas others believe that less ethical politicians start most of the war.In this essay,I will examine both sides of the argument and provide my overall opinion.
Frankly speaking,there are two main reason why people think that patriotism is the main cause for starting a war.Perhaps one of the most important reason why people think like this is because we can see from the history, most of the war was occurred due to a country’s or a nation’s liberation.And people want to make their country independent because they love their country. For example, Bangladesh faught for it’s independence against Pakistan in 1971 that was absolutely for patriotism.A further point in favour of this idea is that people think that war is a productive way to get their rights and make their country free from dictatorship.
Despite these argument, many people feel that unethical politicians are the primary reason of many wars.Probably the main reason why people think that this is the right idea is that in today’s world, many dishonest politicians start war just beacuse of their own interest or anger for a particular group of people.Secondly, many politicians start wars because according to their thought war is an ideal way to show their power.
In conclusion, this war issue is a topic which raises strong passions on both sides of the argument. But considered both sides of the issue I would argue that Although patriotism are a big reason for wars, unethical politicians are the biggest one.Eventually , I would say that if politicians would become more ethical or patriotic, they would be able to make our world a better place for living.
