There is no doubt that some animal species are on the threshold of extinction. While some people believe that we should solve the issues related to people, others argue that we should keep animal in safe. In this essay, I will discuss both side of the topic and explain my support for letter view, which is that we should focus on the concerns of human beings.
On the one hand, those who believe governments and people should protect animals about to go extinct argue that those extinctions may deteriorate the environment and do more damage than people expect. They think that this is because those deteriorations may cause a lack of nutrients in the food chain. For example, the population of birds decreased sharply in Turkey after farmers started to use specific insecticides to protect their crops from insects. Furthermore, they believe that people usually bring about new problems while they are trying to solve their problems. The result of this is that more and more animal species are becoming in danger day by day.
However,I would argue that focusing on people problems more important than animals. Although protecting animal species are essential for environment, governments should invest a lot of many for those projects. Nevertheless, there are still many people in the world who suffer from insufficient water supply and food sources. If those governments had spent money for those people, they would not have had those problems anymore. For instance, some countries stoped investing to animal protection programs and they start to help undeveloped countries. Many people’s problem solved after receving those investments. Nonetheless, I believe that this is not enough for every people who struggle with finding solutions for food, water, infrastructure problems.
In conculusion, although some people think that protecting animals from dying out is important, overcoming human’s problems and fulfiling their needs is more essential. In my opinion, we must solve problems that concern people.
