Advantage And Disadvantage

Band 5+: Some students take one year off between finishing high school and going to university, in order to travel or to work. Do you think the advantages of it outweigh the disadvantages?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

After five or four years studying hard most of people prefer to take a rest between school and university. In my prospective of view it has a lot of advantages because in this way they are able to gain some valueable experiences but it should not last too long.In this essay i will discuss about this issue.

First of all, during the gap pupils who have been taught theoretical lessons have the chance to to work in related fields so that they can expand their knowledge in practical areas and gain more skills and achive at least a superficial insight about the coureses which they wish to choose at university.Second, this period of time gives opportunity to those who are seeking for ideal job. Also , at the mean time there would be enough time to plan for future. Additionally, finding a fulfilling job for rest of the life plays a crucial role in students lives so that they can investigate more and talk to experts to gain more information. Finally, after education , pupils should take a trip to refresh their minds. Also, comminucate with freinds and hanging out with them could be a good idea for relaxation.

On the other hand, this gap shuld not last too long because it has some consequences which may affect their careers. For instance, if you spend too much time on trips or work you may forget about your goals and future plans.Besides, the success which you gain from first job experience may persuade you not to continue your education anymore.

In conclusion ,this gap plays critical role on pupils’ future so it should be managed wisely and also it is a wonderful idea to take a rest after constant education but it should not last too long.
