Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is an everlasting debate about the most proper attitude that human being should have for animal usages. Some argue that it is reasonable to utilise animals only to benefit human being, while other hold the opposite view. In the following essay, I will discuss both arguments and explain why I deem more restriction towards animal using shall be introduced by most areas.

Opponents who advocate animal usage often addresses the dominant role that humans are at in food chain, which well justifies every action that the predominant predetors choose to executive. At the same time, it is perfectly natural and common that predators such as eagles hunt their preys. Consequently, people deserve the right inherited from their ancestors in prehistory era to use animals however they want to fulfill their survival needs. In addition, animal experiments, for example, has proundedly contributed in various aspects in human society for extending the expentancy of humans, including the test of advanced medical treatments.

However, the opposition stance argues that exploiting animal resource will lead to a loss of biodiversity. On the one hand, there is a growing number of wild animals becoming endangered in modern world, while some enthusiast hunters are still preying on them for their individual interests, including the great financial gain they will receive for selling the skin or fur of some rared animals. Research has show that human activities that mentioned above is the main cause for the loss of biodiversity, leading to an unbalanced food chain and threatening the diet of every living being in this planet.

In conclusion, while leveraging animals in medical fields saves lives for humans, I still believe there shall be more limitations towards the exloitation of animals for biodiversity is a vital issue for human survival. Without a diverse food chain, most species might extinct for lacking enough food supply. Evidentially, in Norway, one of the developed countries, feasible regulations towards the hunting of Arctic Foxes has successfully perserved this specie, halting the breakdown of the north pole ecosystem to a certain extent.
