A recent research shows us that by the 2050, most of the so dear to us species (such as tigers, pandas , along with other 400 type of animals) will be estingued . This is a shocking discover for the reaserch members and volonteers that deal with endangered animals, but , is it to us? While some argue that the funds used annually for the conservation of these animals could be used elsewhere, others firmly believe that it is crucial to keep the eco-system vital’s balances unaltered, by preventing every kind of species. Personally I disagree with the fund-rising being a waste of money , since our lives ‘s wellness is deep connected to our planet ‘s one ( since both our planet and our lives ‘s wellness are connected ).
First of all, wildlife is the main component of our landscapes, our cultures, as well as structural component of our biodiversity, that is , the whealt and variaty of living forms that sustain and contribute to life on Earth. Every single animal plays its big role on this planet, think about bees and spiders! Therefore,it is a serious deal if tigers, elephants and blue whales are disappearing ! If different species didn’t exist, we would look at the same animals whether we are in the middle of a desert, a forest or a mountain. Not to talk about the consequences it would have on eco-system vital balances. We couldn’t enjoy a Safari or a visit to the zoo and collect joyful memories . Last year I went to Phuket, an island in Thailand, and one of my best memories were related to tropical animals! I got (the change ) to see white sharks and even snorkeling with turtles.
Moreover , major consequencies would be found in the textile field , where ,again, animals play a fondamental role: thanks to their sacrifaces we can annualy obtain tons of wood, satin, fur, plumes . Maybe if we look it at this way, people are more likely to feel emphaty towards these poor creatures ,because,as i said previously, we actually care about changes when they start to affect our benefits.
Overall, i think that we own a lot to the wildlife, from the clothes we wear, the food the eat , the medicine we safely assume , and , last but not least , for our entertainment . What is important , is knowing that what is so easly given to us , is someone else’s sacrifice . Therefore , we shouldn’t remain so unconcerned about endangered species , indeed, we should give them a big help , and not by just thinking about it , but by putting these thougths into habits ,and being more respectul to whom lived before us and helped shape the wonderful and colorful world we live : animals.
