In recent years, traffic has soared in cities primary reason is rising number of personal vehicles amidst individuals. Moreover, driving personal vehicle becomes a trend among youth. A recent study conducted by Indian traffic school delineates that in 2003 2% teenagers used to take their personal vehicles to schools. Conversely, It incline to 73 percent in 2024. Another significant reason is poor public transportation in cities push people towards personal vehicle or taxi. Furthermore, stagnantly rising population in cities people migrating from rural areas significantly accelerated traffic volume in urban areas.

To alleviate the traffic congestion it requires two-pronged approach which includes tackling high-scale issue alongside individuals contributions. Firstly, state intervention is required they should promote sustainable transportation includes robust public transportation. incorporate innovative electrifying vehicles allure public to take cost effective public transportation rather than personal vehicle. Government should enact the policy that allows one personal vehicle per family it leads to plummet the traffic volume. For instance.
