Whether the educators should focus on skill development or the theoretical education in learners has really become a matter of discussion . In my opinion , both the views have their own advantages and an implication of both would be fruiful for both the groups.
On the one hand , encouraging teaching skills in schools would progress the overall personality and career pathways for students . To elaborate , having a chance to gain some practical skills would likely generate the curiosity and could aid the pupils to grow up their creativity which would increase their self-esteem . In addition to this , an exposure of multiple skills would help in recognizing a god-given talent that would initially be fruitful to master as they grow older . For instance , a study conducted by National Sample Survery Office in 2018 , it has been found that the youth which spends their free time in gaining new skills and playing sports eventually become more skillfull by their graduation.
On the flip side , having plentiful subjects in school would escalate the IQ of children and development of nation. To illustrate , it would not only fulfill the basic intelligence but also be able to boost the academic growth of the adolescents as different fields of study provide a whole lot of knowledge . Additionally , as various jobs such as lawyers who has most of the information and the knowledge than some skills would bring a growth in the law and justice sector of the country.
In conclusion , it can be said that both the arguuements have greatful merits as the skills and knowledge are equally important in the society and thus a combination use of skills and academy would be blissful for the society.
