Number of people move away from their friends and families for work. The advantages and disadvantages go hand in hand making it a personal choice for the decision to be made. I personally feel moving away for work has an upper hand.
Better employment is available in some concentrated regions only, increasing the demand of labour in that place. This demand causes an inflation in the wages, which help in upgrading of the person’s financial situation. The money received will make the lives of the person’s loved ones better. Independence and the ability to survive out of the comfort zone are added into the character automatically. Some individuals might have a toxic family, moving away will aid in improving their mental health. The location that they have moved to might be beneficial in refining their skills and overall living conditions. The expanding opportunities will be beneficial for the person to climb the social ladder in a short period.
Living away brings a large gap between our parents, making it very hard to digest. However the growing technology is supporting in keeping touch with everyone, but the extensive working times disrupt connections with some friends. We feel safer at home than in any other place, especially when we fall ill. The home food is unmatchable, it will be missed excessively. Important events like weddings and anniversaries will be missed if the schedules do not match, the fear of missing out will decrease the concentration in work.
It narrows down to personal growth and emotional bonding, which are hard to be compared.
