Dear Rakib,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. I’m delighted to hear you’re coming on Saturday. I am writing this letter to apologize to you that, for an emergency meeting, I’m not available on that day and to offer you an alternative day to visit my place.
I would like to inform you that our company will organize an important meeting on Saturday, and here I am one of the chief participants for this seminar, so it would be impossible for me to spend time with you because I already have the responsibilities of preparing all necessary things, like the layout of the meeting, inviting other guests, arranging equipment that is required for the meeting, and also having a short speech in the meeting, so I cannot get any time to meet with you.
It would be greatly appreciated if you would change the date and select any convenient date after the next Saturday, so we get the opportunity to spend some quality time together and visit different interesting landscapes in my country. I suggested you confirm the date on Thursday, January 5th, if possible.
Once again, I’m sorry. I hope you understand my situation and look forward to hearing your positive response.
Best regards,
Shahir
