Dear Timmy,

How are you? I hope you are doing well. It’s been a long time since we met, However, I can still feel not only the warmth but also the enjoyment of our nostalgic moments. But, now I am feeling sad, while telling you that I won’t be able to meet you this time, because of the bypass surgery of my father which is to be undergone on the same day in Chandigarh, which is far away from my place.

I am really very sorry about this inconvenience to you. Because of the limited availability of time slots for surgery, I can’t postpone it. If I do so, then I will have to wait for about one month for next appointment. Indeed, Doctors guided me to take papa immediately for treatment as he is at critical stage.

However, I’ve talked to one of my friends and she will receive you from Dheli airport. Moreover, you can stay at her residence, as her parents are out of town for one week and the room is vacant. Apart from that she will take you on a trip which has already been arranged by me for both of you. I hope you will try to understand my helplessness.
