The two maps illustrate the differences of the same coastal location but at a different time, from where it was still an argicultural land to the current one being a coastal park. Overall, it is clear that the location has drastic changes in terms of amenities and appearances.
Before development, the coastal area was undeveloped with the majority of the eastern part was used for argicultural matters. Here, the main road only granted accesss to farm buildings with animals nearby and an unused land to their west, also showing a separated footpath. Down to the south, there were also cliffs leading to the beach but there was no facilities built in the area to make it accessible yet. As a result, the area was not open to visitors and seemed to be dull.
Meanwhile after development, the coastal area seemed to be much more lively where facilities are built and tempting visitors to come. The primary road got connected to a vast car park which used to be farm builings. Both to the eastern and western of the car park, there are green woods and artificial lake made on the previously unused land, argicultural area, and animals residence. There are also footpath on both of these areas to make it more accessible. Whereas, to the north of the woods, there is also a strategic new cafe. Meanwhile in the Southern part to the cliff, steps were also built to connect the park to the beach, making it easily reachaed and attracted a lot of visitors to spend time there.
Overall, the coastal area received a significant change from an unused and solitary area to a lively and recreational spot with increased public accessibility.
