Dear Sara,

I hope this letter finds you. I am writing to apologise regarding my cancellation of next week get together.

It is stated that , I have to travel to Lahore next week . so, I obliged to cancel our meeting and I deeply apologise about this incident.

Consequently, I just received an email from well-known hospital in Lahore, who called me for an interview after 7 days . It is about a job which I dreamt about it for a while. Therefore, I have to travel in coming days to attend the appointment . Also, I have to stay there until the result comes out.

Although, I do not know the exact returning date, but I will try my best to meet up on Sunday after 3 weeks, in the same place where we have decided before. Once again , I apologise about that and I hope we will able to meet again.

I look forward to hearing back your reply.
