The pie chart represents the reasons why Vietnamese citizens changed locations to live in another part of Vietnam in 2012. Overall, it can be seen that there are three main reasons of moving home, which are employment, education and marriage. Among these, the proportion of people relocated within Vietnam is the largest.
Over half of people moved home to live in another part for work, making employment the most common reason. In contrast, education accounted for the smallest proportion, at just one tenth.
On the other hand, about one fifth of people relocated to marry someone from other parts of the country, which makes marriage the second common reason. This figure is twice as high as the proportion of people whose reasons are unspecified, at a little over one tenth.
To conclude, employment is the most common reason for changing home to live in another part, followed by marriage. Education and other factors are also the reasons for relocation, but these are less common.
