Overall, Male account for the largest proportion in E-sport development in Southern Korea. The average ages attracted to electronic games are approximately from 18 years old to 36 years old. Action game play is appealing to the majority of players.
In the age and gender, the adolescents were the majority of players which made up almost 40 percent.Adults age group was followed by 38 percent. By contrast, the middle age group is least engaged in electronic games, as contributions to games taken by younger audiences naturally. Moreover, coming to gender sectors, Male players outweighed females compared to the proportion of 72 percent and 28 percent. It justified the favor of male playing games more than women.
Regarding game preferences in Southern Korea, the pie chart surveyed 3 types of electronic games which were action,sport,racing games in favor of genres among players, occupied for 43%,20%,17% in that order.This was followed by the remaining games which had similar proportion made up 7% and others were 6%.
