The line chart compares the proportion of secondary school tutors below 30 years old in four different countries namely Brazil, Luxembourg, Japan and Czech Republic from 2010 to 2017.
Overall, the number of Japanese teachers participating in teaching for secondary educational institutions increased consistently, while Luxembourgish people were less likely to teach students from secondary education. In addition, Brazil and the Czech Republic witnessed a steady decrease throughout the years.
Regarding Japan and Luxembourg, Japanese tutors accounted for 10% of the quantity at the beginning which grew significantly to approximately 16%. In contrast, Luxembourgish teachers showed their less interest in teaching secondary school when their proportion of engagement fluctuated over 7 years and then Luxembourg remained the lowest proportion of teacher involvement; lower than Japan roughly 10%.
Concerning the remaining countries, Brazil initially stood at the highest rank ( exactly 20%) but kept plunging from it to around 13% in 2017; standing at the second as well as being surpassed by Japan for about 2% of participants. Last but not least, the Czech Republic in the first years experienced a fluctuation and then inclined to about 16% before witnessing a significant decline over time and similarly being exceeded by Japan to Brazil.
