The table illustrates the data of students of university about their average annual expenses in three different countries. The calibration of the data is given in percentage (%).
Overall, it can be seen that students from country A had the highest expenses, whereas country C students had the least expenses.
In detail, the major amount spent by the students was on accommodation, at 45%. There was an equal amount spent by the students of country A on food and leisure, at 22% each. There were 8% other expenses, while the least amount was spent on books, at 3%. The total spending of country A was US$5,000.
Similarly, in country B, the major amount was spent on accommodations, at 35%. The percentage spent on food was 28%, and on leisure, it was 23%. The total spending in country B was US$4,500, less than that of country A. The percentage of books and other expenses was 14% combined.
On the contrary, the spending of country C students was totally different from the previous two, with food covering the most spending, at 36%. Accommodations were second, at 30%, leisure was 12%, and others were 1%. Finally, in country C, 21% was spent on books.
