The bar graph illustrates the spending pattern of people in Belgium, Spain, Austria and Britain on six types of commodities namely console games, outdoor activities facilities, foreign supplies, books, toys and camera. Overall, while Britain spent the highest amount of money on purchased goods, Belgium had the smallest expenditure. It goes without saying that cameras were the most popularly-purchased items in 2012, as well as game online devices, were the lowest prevalent over 4 countries.
Regarding Belgium, it accounted the least on almost all categories, with the spending figures for all categories spanning between 145 and 155 thousand pounds
In terms of Spain’s expenditure, it seems that Spanish gave most of the attention to outdoor game accessories and cosmetics which were the highest data among the four countries. Moreover, it reached approximately 160 thousand pounds each field, while the spending on console games were comparatively lower, around 150 thousand pounds. The figures for the remaining categories were relatively consistent, hovering around 155 thousand pounds.
Austria and Britain shared a similar pattern in their spending habits. Cameras were the largest spending category. The disparity in the spending on console games, outdoor game accessories and cosmetics was negligible in both countries.
