Looking from overall perspective, it is readily apparent that, women did physical activity more than men throughout the period, with the exception of teenager female and male. Average women led throughout the period in terms of percentage, while young men did comparatively little.
Women at the age from 44 to 53 led throughout the period in terms of percentage at a peak of 54,2 in 2010, followed by women at the age from 34 to 43 that did slightly lower 53,1. In contrast, men in the same age did comparatively little which did 38,8. However, young generations in New Zealand did regular physical activity and reached a peak with 51,7 per cent.
While, young men reached a peak with 51,7 women in the same age has the smallest percentage 46,9, with a slight rise to 49,2 for women from 24,33. Latter category for men undertook 44,7 in the age of 54 to 63 and finished the period with a slight rise to 47,2 in the age 63 and above.
