The bar chart gives information on how many hours men and women from Australia worked per week.
Overall, it is clearly seen that men generally worked more than women. People from the hour category 30 to 50 worked more than any other group. Notably, the percentage of the people who worked over 80 hours was equal for both men and women.
Firstly, females who worked from 0 to 10 hours performed 10 percent more than male. As for the hours from 10 to 20, women also worked approximately twice more than men. Notably, after such a decrease the percentage of men working increased and became bigger than women’s in the hour category from 30 to 50.
However, after male’s increased, the percentage of hours females worked started to decrease. The hours category from 60 to 80 had 30% of working men, while women’s percentage accounted for almost 18%, which is one and a half times less than men’s. Clearly, the percentage of both genders in the hour category over 80 decreased. It was equal and accounted for only 10%.
