Focusing on the bar chart, the percentage of people who played tennis, volleyball, baseball, swimming, and golf fell noticeably. In 1998, about 8% and 9% of people participated in tennis and volleyball, respectively, and in 2005, they were decreased to approximately 6% and 7%. Players of baseball in seven years sharply dropped from about 16% to 7%. The percentage of people in swimming and golf accounted for around 13% and 22% in 1998, and roughly 11% and 21% in 2005.
Turning to the remain trends, they slightly decreased in seven years. However, soccer player increased from around 8% to 9%. Cycling, downhill, and alpine skiing fell from roughly 8% to 7%. Participations of basketball and ice hockey in 1998 were approximately 9% and 18%, respectively, and in 2005, the percentage of people dropped by about 1%.
