The pie chart illustrates the proportion of visitors to the US from different countries from 1988 to 1992. Overall, Canada dominated over the period, indicating that most of the visitors was from Canada. However, in the begging year Mexico had highest proportion compared to China, but year by year it has changed. It’s also clear that figure for other showed lowest trajectories compare to others.
Focusing on figures for Canada and China showed different proportions, in the begging of the period they started at 53% and 10%, respectively. However, after two years Canada experienced a dip and decrease to 43%, but China showed significantly increase and exceed that of Mexico and other countries stay at 28%. Furthermore, Canada saw a dip against and fell to 40% in 1993, while figures for China went up and close the period at 30%.
In contrast, Mexico and other was almost similar in 1988, starting at 25% for Mexico and 10% for Other. Although, percentages for Other went down to 9%, while Mexico followed by the Other decrease to 20% in the middle of the period. In the final year, Mexico has positive change increasing to 26%, but the proportion for Other was not outstanding decreasing to 4%.
