Overall, there was a significant decline in both the proportions of Canadian and other countries’ visitors, while the opposite was true for Mexico and China. Notably, Canada attracted the largest number of visitors among four countries.
In the first year, the proportion of tourists from Canada was highest, at 53%, followed by other countries, with 12%. Following 18 years, there was a moderate decrease in both the figure for Canada and others, with 43% and 9%, respectively. On the other hand, after decreasing, the Canadian visitors continued to drop slightly, at 40%, dramatically higher than that in other countries in 1992
In the remaining categories,the data for Mexico accounts for 25%, while Chinese visitors registered only 10%.After 18 years, a remarkable growth to 28% was recorded in the figure for China. By contrast, Mexican travellers marginally declined in Mexico, which then rose to 26% in the end period.Moreover, the 1992 saw a significant rise in the figure for China.
