The pie charts below compares the percentage of visitors to the US from Mexico,Canada, China, and other countries between 1988 to 1992.
Overall, visitors from Canada represented the highest figures throughout the period,almost half of all visitors, while the figures for other regions were the lowest.
The proportion of guests from Canada to the US witnessed a noticeable decrease within 4 years, from 53% to 40%,respectively. The figure for travellers from Mexico in 1992 is almost the same as before in 1988 (26%), except a slight dip to 20% in 1990. Turn to the percentage of China’s visitors, they experienced a threefold surge from 10% in 1988 to 30% in 1992.
The opposite trend was true for other countries guests, they exhibited a threefold fall from 12% in 1988 to 4% in 1992.
