Overall, Nation B had the highest participation in most sports, especially running, whereas Nation D recorded by far the highest figure for gym activities. In contrast, Nation B spent the least time reading per day. As for book prices, they were very similar in all four countries.
Looking first at reading habits and book prices, people in Nations A, C and D spent roughly 55 minutes per day reading, while the figure for Nation B was much lower, at only 20 minutes. In terms of book prices, the average cost was around 7 euros in all countries, ranging only from 6.9 euros in Nation B to 7.1 euros in Nation C.
Regarding sports participation, Nation B showed the highest proportions for tennis, swimming and running, at about 18%, 21% and 23% respectively. By contrast, the figures for Nations A, C and D were mostly around 10%. The most notable exception was gym participation in Nation D, which was the highest overall, at approximately 26%.
