The bar chart compares the percentages of people with different degrees of scientific educations in the countries of Malaysia and Singapore.
An overview of the bar graph has made it clear that most residents of both mentioned countries did not receive scientific trainings of any sorts, yet most of those who did, went on to abandon their studies after passing the exams designated for graduation from school.
Upon closer inspection of the data, it appears evident that approximately 65% of Malaysian population and 60% of people if Singapore did not pursue science at all in their lives. On the other hand, around half this populations finished school.
In case of people with higher degrees of scientific diplomas, precisely 10% of people in Malaysia and twice this figure at Singapore gained a bachelor’s degree. Finally, a tiny fraction of less than 5% of the population in both countries are in the position of a master’s degree.
