The pie charts compare the proportion of household expenditures spent on basic needs in China in different years.All units are measured in percentages.In general, It is clear that the household expenditur on medicine and domestic items rose during the given years..The reverse was true for food and clothing. Another interesting fact is that the households in china dedicated to the most in food, with it remained consistantly dominant in both years.
In 1995, the demand of households for food was around 68%, with it ranked first amoung others, however , it experienced steadle decrease to 59% the final years. In spite of the decrease , it countinued to hold its position in the household budget. The food saw the highest proportion, while clothing coming next and it accounted for 19% the beginning , wheares it showed only a small reduction by 1% in 2011.
When it comes to medicine , the share of spending budget on it at around 9% in 1995, conversely, there was a dramatic growth and reached at 11 %. Finally, the household expenditure on domestic uses stood at 9 % initially and it surpassed medicine and peaked at 12 % in 2011.
