The bar chart depicts data on how many skilled workers relocated to Australia within a 4-year span, starting from 2009.
On the whole, it is evident that Accounts had by far the highest figures, while the opposite was true for Computer programmers throughout. Although accounting and computer programming experienced an upward trajectory, the number of experienced cooks and software engineers accounted for the reverse.
Commencing with accountants, the total amount of workforce they had stood at 20,000 in the beginning, after which its figure skyrocketed to almost 35,000 in 2010. However, the category approached a decline of 13,000 workers, making it 22,000 in the final year. Regarding cookery, they had less than 20,000, followed closely by a loss of more than 2,000 employees in 2010. Whereas the numbers picked up by 3,000 in the following year, it ended the span with 16,000 staff.
Focusing on software engineering, the second largest sector, the total of engineers was at virtually 18,000 in 2009. Even though the figure climbed to 20,000 in 2011, the shares plunged to 17,000 by the end. Last but not least, computer programmers began the period with an all-time low of 2,000 laborers, yet with higher levels in next years. Having been decreased in 2011, computer programmers encountered the peak of 5,000 personnel, ending the interval with the lowest figure.
