The bar diagrams depict student’s reasons of choosing study as career or interest according to age group between under 26 to over 49 and how much support they got from employers.
Overall, it can be seen that the age group below 26 to 39 is preferring study for career while, age group above 49, looking at study as interest. On the other hand, employer support is getting more to below 26 to 29 years for leaves or help with fees.
As it is clearly seen, around 80% of students under 26 are looking study as career. This reason continues for age groups 26-29 and 30-39 with 70% and 55% respectively. However, 40 to 49 age group students are looking to study for both ways. As age is growing, the reason of study changes as interest, with 70% of people from age group above 49.
Looking on second graph, students who’s under 26 are receiving employer support around 70%. As age will increase, leaves and assists with fees will getting less. Further age groups 26-29 and 30-39 will get 50% and 30% employer help. But, 35% of employer assistance get to age group 40-49 whereas, over 49 years, this support increase to just over 40%.
