Overall, it is clear that Finance was the most preferred sector for US students. Additionally, the figures for Economics, Engineering, Mathematics for girl student were significantly lower than that of boys, excepting for MArketing, Accounting and Finance.
In terms of Finance. these figures for boys and girls were similar with 225 students for both genders. Moreover, Accounting had 200 female students selecting this subject, which was 50 students higher than boys. Furthermore, Marketing stood at the third place with 125 girls and around 50 boys.
On the other hand, Mathematics experienced the biggest difference at 200 males and more than 50 girls. Similarly, the number of boys choosing Economics doubled the figure for female students, eaching 150 and 70 people respectively. Notably, just 60 males and just over 50 girls chose Engineering, which was the least preferred subject of the six fields over the period as a whole.
