The diagram shows differences of post-school qualifications between male and female in Australia in 1999.
Generally, female has the first rank for 2 qualifications while male stands first on other qualifications. Also, they had their most proportion in skilled vocational diploma and undergraduate diploma which is men and women stood first, respectively.
Accordingly, there was a huge disparity in contribution of skilled vocational diploma where the former standing first, with 90%.
Although, we had a same share of 2 qualifications namely, undergraduate diploma and postgraduate degree, proportion of women and men were in contrast and they were greater than the other group with approximately 40% variation, respectively.
In bachelor’s degree they had a marginal differences of 5% and the former (female) got 50%. In contrast, master degree being taken to latter was two-third of percentage (female) whereas the remaining 60% was allocated to the former.
