Overall, the restaurant industry provided the most jobs, whereas travel and tour created the least jobs between 1989 and 2009. Furthermore working at the restaurants showed an upward trend, while that of sport and leisure indicated the downward trend.
It is evident that from 1989 to 2004, jobs at restaurants increased significantly from about 1100 to 1600, then dropped slightly to about 1300 at the end of the period. Moreover, jobs related to travel and tour stood at 800 by the year of 1989, then rose mildly to about 1000 in 1994 and decreased dramatically to 400 in 2009.
Turning to the other set of data, the number of works related to sport and leisure fluctuated from about 900 in 1989 and recovered to about 900 in 2004, then decreased slightly to about 700 jobs in 2009. Furthermore, the number of jobs associated with hotels increased dramatically from about 1100 jobs in 1989 to 1400 jobs in 1994 and dropped slowly to about 1100 jobs in 2004, and remained the same in 2009.
