The chart illustrates the data about the results of a research in Europe about young people’s expectations about five differents areas of life such as communication between people, quality of food, quality of water, quality of air in the cities and health in the next 20 years. Overall, it is noticeable that people mostly hope that communication between people will improve , while for them it seems unlikely that air in cities will be less polluted.
To begin with, it is obvious that majority really wants to get along with another better in the future, so 54% of respondents said that it will impove by the time 46% of them lost their hope in that. Another area that more likely to change in a good way is quality of food. Approximately half of the respondents (49%) agreed that its quality will increase,while other half of them (51%) thik that it will get worse. Similar to mentioned areas, 42% of young people aim that health will ameliorate in the next two decades while 58% of population believe the opposite.
In contrast, nowadays most of the people lost their hope in air of the cities. Only 23% out of 100% said it will get less polluted in the future
