The two chart visualize how different age groups purchase their tickets and the common devices involved in the process of purchasing tickets respectively.
In general, it’s noticeable that younger people tend to purchase their ticket online more than others, and desktop computer is the most popular method to buy tickets.
The first chart shows that majority of people buying tickets online are from younger generation, approximately 55% in the UK, Australia and 40% in Malaysia. While only less than half of the elderly people are preferred to buy online tickets.
The second chart demonstrates that desktop computers are most involved in buying tickets online, slightly over than 60% people choose this as their method of getting their hand on a ticket. Following behind is laptops, less than half of the people and only 30% in the UK use this as a mean of accessing tickets. And lastly, mobile device is the least common way to buy tickets on e-commerce platforms.
Overall, younger generation are more likely to purchase tickets on e-commerce platforms, and consumers are mostly using desktop computer to accessing tickets online
