The tables illustrate data about the proportion of first-year students who enrolled in remedial education courses at two different universities, A and B.
Overall, it is clear that the total percentage and share for each subject at University A was higher than at University B. Notably, while the math percentage at University A was the highest, University B demonstrated the greatest rate in reading.
Reading share at University A was more than at University B, in particular 22% and 12% respectively. As regards writing percentages, University B experienced 10% enrollment, that about three times as less than at University A with 26%.
According to the math percentage in remedial education courses of the first-year class, it experienced the greatest difference, to be exact, seven times: at University A – 35%, and at University B – 5% in turn. Generally, there were differenciation at three times between total enrollment proportion of two universities, 45% at University A, and 15% at University B.
