The chart provides data on information about three types of nutrients in typical meals( dinner, breakfast, lunch and snacks).
It is clear that dinner contained the largest proportion of sodium nutrients ( 43%) and saturated fat nutrients (37 %) . Also snacks represented the majority of added sugar nutrients , which reached 42 percent. The percentage of sodium and saturated fat remained almost same in their composition .
It can be seen that sodium and saturated fat in snacks made up a small minority of total . Sodium stood at 14 percent and saturated fat at 21 percent in typical daily meals . By contrast , lunch contained almost the same amount of sodium and other types of nutrients , in comparison to breakfast, which consists of the smallest number of all nutrients in composition.
Overall, while dinner accounted for the largest proportion of sodium and saturated fat , breakfast contained the lowest percentage of sugar.
