The charts illustrate the proportion of various sectors using electricity in Eastern Australia between 2007 and 2010. Overall, residential sectors had the biggest percentage, while agriculture had the lowest over the period.
In 2007, the highest percentage for electricity consumers were comes from Residential about 28%. Following that, from Commercial sectors were about 23%. Manufacturing and Alumunium had the same proportion for about 13%. Not far from those, Other Metals and Mining were only 12% and 9% sequentially. Meanwhile, Transport and Agriculture had contributed only 1%.
Different in 2010, Residential and Commercial sectors remained stable with 28% and 23% consecutively. On the other hand, Manufacturing experienced decrease to 9%. Moreover, Alumunium witnessed went down about 11%. However, Other Metals were the only sectors that noticeable a grew up for about 18%. In contrast, Transport and Agriculture had remained constant were about 1%.
To sum up, 3 years from 2007, the electricity consumers significantly increased from Other Metals sectors, while Manufacturing and Alumunium substantially declined.
