The given pie charts illustrate the proportion of adults who joined in many courses in 1985 and now. Overall, it is obvious that the variety of course decreases over the period. Additionally, people prefer to learn modernization subjects rather than traditional courses.

In the past, Modern languages such as French, German, Spanish,…accounted for the largest part, at 24%, followed slightly 2% by Fitness and dance. Moreover, the percentage of art, local history and cookery comprised together only under 20%, at 17%, 15% and 14%, respectively. Finally, the smallest part was seen in the figure for music appreciation, at just 8%.

In the present, the appearance of IT, which instead of music appearance and local history, has surpassed modern languages and become the dominant figure, taking up 27%. Meanwhile, Modern languages has witnessed a significant drop to just 17%. To addition, there is a minimally change in the percentage of art and cookery, consist of 15% and 19%, respectively. Lastly, the figure for Fitness and dance has remained unchanged until now.
