The first bar chart give detailed information about the proportion of males and females owning driving license in one European nation from 1976 to 2006, while the second bar graph illustrates gender distribution of young drivers from 17 to 20 years old.
Overall, it is clear that there was an upward trend, albeit to varying degrees and different patterns, in the proportion of license in both male and female categories, while percentage for young drivers experienced a decrease in both genders throughout the period.
According to the first chart,in 1976, the perecentsges of men more higher by 40% than females, which were 70% and 30%, respectively. After that, the figure for males remained stable at around 70, in 1986, while percentage of females who has license increased to 40. Moreover, both men and women drivers with license increased gradually accounting for 80% and 60, in 2006.
As can be seen in the second graph, men was leading categorty at 50%, in 1996, and women made up only 30 percent.Hovewer, both genders witnessed a decrease, witrh a more remarkable decline in females, accounting around 45 percent1 and 20 percent, respectively.
